Editor's Note: Former Ch. 70, Solid Waste Advisory Council, adopted 4-20-1989 by Ord. No. 675-89, was repealed 1-4-1990 by Ord. No. 707-90. See Ch. 16, Environmental Commission, for current provisions.
The Middle Township Traffic Committee is hereby re-created.
All actions of the Middle Township Traffic Committee taken during the hiatus of its nonexistence are hereby ratified.

The Middle Township Traffic Committee shall consist of the following:
Seven voting members who shall be chosen from the general public. Each member shall have a term of three years' duration. All existing members of the Traffic Committee shall maintain the terms for which they were heretofore appointed.
Nonvoting members.
Six nonvoting advisory members composed of the following:
Township Engineer.
County Engineer.
One Chief of any Middle Township fire or rescue squad.
One representative of the Middle Township Police Department.
One representative of the Department of Transportation.
Each advisory member shall have a term of one year.
Three alternate members having a term of two years' duration.
The purpose of the Traffic Committee shall be to study traffic problems of the Township of Middle and to make recommendations to the Township Committee with regard to the resolution of such problems.
The Traffic Committee shall elect a Chairman from the seven voting members. The Traffic Committee shall have the services of a Secretary, to be appointed by the Township Committee. The Traffic Committee shall utilize the Township Solicitor as its legal adviser.
