[HISTORY: Adopted by the Annual Town Meeting of the Town
of Bethany 5-16-1977. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Town Clerk of the Town of Bethany shall receive a salary
in lieu of all fees and other compensation provided for in the Connecticut
General Statutes. Said salary shall be fixed by the legislative body
of the Town of Bethany.
Any and all fees or compensation required by law to be paid
to the Town Clerk shall, subsequent to the effective date of this
chapter, be collected by said Clerk, and the same shall be deposited
by said Clerk in accordance with such provisions of law as now or
in the future shall govern the deposit of money belonging to the Town
of Bethany.
