The terms of office of the Town Clerk and of the Registrars
of Voters shall be changed from two years to terms of four years.

In accordance with Section 9-189a of the General Statutes of
the State of Connecticut, commencing with the 2025 municipal election
and for each biennial election thereafter, the term of office of the
Tax Collector shall be changed from a two-year term to a term of four
years.

In accordance with Section 9-189a of the General Statutes of
the State of Connecticut, commencing with the 2025 municipal election
and for each biennial election thereafter, the term of office of the
Town Treasurer shall be changed from a two-year term to a term of
four years. Such four-year term shall begin on the first Monday of
January succeeding the Town Treasurer's election.
The first Saturday of December is established as the date for
the installation of Town officials elected at the November municipal
elections. (The only exceptions are Town Clerk, who starts the first
Monday of January following the municipal election, per C.G.S. § 9-187a,
and the Registrars of Voters, who start the first Wednesday after
the first Monday in January following the state election, per C.G.S.
§ 9-190a.)
