A.
Subject to compliance with all applicable provisions of § 21-803.1
of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the
Town Council hereby establishes the following roads as school zones:
(1)
Sykesville Middle School Zones: all public roads located within a
half-mile radius of Sykesville Middle School.
(2)
Ava Wanas Montessori School Zones: all public roads located within
a half-mile radius of Ava Wanas Montessori School.
(3)
Springfield Presbyterian (Stepping Stones Preschool) School Zones:
all public roads located within a half-mile radius of Springfield
Presbyterian Church/School.
B.
The maximum speed limit on municipal roads in any school zone shall
be 25 miles per hour.
