[Adopted 1-26-1971 by G.O. No. 6-1971]
The Department is hereby authorized to accept gifts of money
or other property for use in providing trees, flowers, shrubs, benches,
play equipment and similar material for City parks. The Commissioner,
with the approval of the Mayor, shall set a schedule fixing the amount
of the donation for each specific item to be used in the City parks.
All gifts of money made pursuant to this section shall be payable
to the Comptroller of the City of Yonkers and shall be placed by him
in a separate account and shall be disbursed by him and the Commissioner
for the purpose for which they were intended.
