Police Officer in Charge
The position of Police Officer in Charge shall be the law enforcement officer for the Village of Blanchardville, with all powers and authority of a municipal police officer. He or she shall be appointed by the Village President, subject to confirmation by the Village Board, and shall serve such period of time as the Village Board approves. Any reference in any ordinance of the Village Code to "police officer," "law enforcement officer" or the like shall be the Police Officer in Charge.
