The following fees shall apply in the event of applicable use
or participation by any organization unless a specific lease arrangement
or special event application governing such use is approved by the
Township Council:
A. Fee range. Each of the following fees shall be paid for any recreation
event and/or program conducted by the Department of Parks and Recreation
in the Township of Brick. The specific fee charged, listed below,
shall be adopted by resolution on not less than an annual basis.

B. Use of athletic fields.
(1) Each of the following fees pertains to organized events, including
but not limited to games, practices and tournaments. Organizations
utilizing these fields must provide a valid certificate of insurance
providing no less than $1,000,000 in coverage and naming the Township
of Brick as an additional insured. The rates below are based upon
a twelve-hour day. Lighting charges shall be assessed separately when
lights are utilized.

(2) The reduced rates below are based upon a use limited to no more than
three hours for an organized event, including but not limited to games,
practices and tournaments. Organizations utilizing these fields must
provide a valid certificate of insurance providing no less than $1,000,000

(3) "Resident organizations" shall be defined as those organizations
which have a mailing address within the Township of Brick and which
have as their primary purpose the provision of educational and/or
recreational opportunities for the residents of Brick Township.
C. Weekend use of Civic Plaza facilities by community organizations:
$15 per hour.
D. Buses, trucks and cargo vans.
(1) Buses, trucks, cargo vans, and shuttle buses with seats for more
than 15 people may not park at any Brick Township-owned or -controlled
park, playground or playing field without having obtained a permit
from the Brick Township Recreation Department unless such bus is related
to a scheduled game with a team or organization having a lease or
permit from the Township of Brick. Applications must be completed
and submitted with the proper fee of $125. Applications for a bus
permit must be submitted at least 10 days in advance to allow the
Township time to process the application. If an application form is
not received within 10 days prior to arrival, there will be a late
fee of $10. Only persons who have secured advance bus permits may
park, load or unload buses within the Brick Township-owned or -controlled
park, playground or playing field parking lot or adjacent areas. Permits
shall be limited so that no more than two buses are scheduled to park
at the Township-controlled park, playground or playing field parking
lot on any given day. Permits must be displayed in the windshield
of the bus while the bus is within the Brick Township-controlled park,
playground or playing field parking lot.
(2) Persons who park, load or unload buses within the Brick Township-owned or -controlled park, playground or playing field parking lot or adjacent areas without first obtaining a permit shall, upon conviction before the Municipal Judge duly authorized to entertain and hear such complaints, be subject to the penalties as provided in Chapter
1, §
1-15, General penalty, at the discretion of said Judge.
(3) Any group or entity, including corporate and nonprofit groups, desiring
to use, visit or hold an event at any Brick Township-owned or -controlled
park, playground or playing field, shall first obtain a permit from
the Township for such use, visit or event, unless such use, visit
or event is related to a scheduled game with a team or organization
having a lease or permit from the Township of Brick. For purposes
of this section, any group of more than 15 people shall be deemed
a “group or entity” subject to the permit requirements
set forth herein.

A. Fees for
the sale of burgees:
(1) Flags
with a size of 12 inches by 18 inches shall cost $20.
(2) Flags
with a size of 16 inches by 24 inches shall cost $25.
(3) Flags
with a size of 24 inches by 36 inches shall cost $75.
(4) Flags
with a size of 36 inches by 54 inches shall cost $100.
(5) Flags
with a size of 60 inches by 90 inches shall cost $150.
Instructional youth sports clinics may be offered to Brick Township
residents based on proposals from qualified professionals subject
to the approval of the Director of the Department of Recreation. Registration
fees will include the vendor cost per participant, plus a fee of $10
for administrative costs.
