Borough of Tyrone, PA Chapter 143 Plumbing

§ 143-1 Adoption of standards.

A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Borough Secretary of the Borough of Tyrone, being marked and designated as "The BOCA National Plumbing Code, Eighth Edition, 1990," as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the Borough of Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Plumbing Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 143-2 of this chapter.

§ 143-2 Amendments to standards.

The following sections are hereby revised as follows:

A. Section P-100.1 (page 1, second line). Insert: Borough of Tyrone.

B. Section P-104.1 (page 2, second line). Insert: September 14, 1992.

C. Section P-114.2 (page 8, third line). Insert: $25.

D. Section P-117.4 (page 9, fourth, fifth and sixth lines). Insert: Each violation of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of at least $25 and not more than $1,000, and/or 10 days in jail.[1]

E. Section P-118.2 (page 10, first and second lines). Insert $25 and $300.

F. Section P-303.2 (page 26, third line). Insert: As long as property owner is in agreement to pick up cost of lateral and cost of main extension if needed.

G. Section P-308.3 (page 27, second line). Insert: three feet.

H. Section P-308.4 (page 27, second and fourth lines). Insert: 30 inches minimum.
