There is hereby established the office of Code Enforcement Official
for the Borough of Allendale which shall collectively include the
offices of Construction Code Official, Building Subcode Official,
Fire Subcode Official and Plumbing Subcode Official.
The Code Enforcement Official shall serve at the pleasure of
the governing body.
The Code Enforcement Official shall enforce the Uniform Construction
Code, building subcode, fire subcode, plumbing subcode, and all applicable
chapters of this Code as required and may issue summonses for violations
thereof.
The compensation to be paid to the Code Enforcement Official
shall be as the Borough Council from time to time provides for in
the annual salary ordinance and implementing resolutions.
