Editor's Note: This chapter was originally enacted as
Ch. 90 but was renumbered to fit the alphabetic sequence of the Code.
The Borough Clerk is hereby authorized to approve the granting
of raffle and bingo licenses to be held in the Borough of Allendale.
Any appeals from a denial by the Borough Clerk of the issuance
of a raffle or bingo license shall be heard by the Mayor and Council
and shall be filed within five days of the date of notification of
denial.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in consistent or in conflict
with this chapter are hereby repealed as to said inconsistencies and
conflicts.
If any section, part of any section, or clause or phrase of
this chapter is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional,
such decision shall not affect the remaining provisions of this chapter.
The governing body of the Borough of Allendale declares that it would
have passed this chapter and each section and subsection thereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more of the subsections,
sentences, clauses or phrases may be declared unconstitutional or
invalid.
This chapter shall take effect immediately after passage and
publication according to law.
