The speed limit for both directions of traffic along the streets
or parts thereof described in this section is hereby established at
the rate of speed indicated in said schedule. It shall be unlawful
for any person to drive a vehicle at a higher speed than the maximum
prescribed for that street or part of a street.

The proper officers of the Township are authorized and directed
to purchase and install, in accordance with the provision of the Vehicle
Code and the Manual of Regulations for Official Traffic Signs, the
necessary signs within such points.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this article, upon conviction before a Magisterial District Judge,
shall be liable to pay a fine of not less than $35. Any person, firm
or corporation exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than five
miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each
mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
