A. 
No person shall park a vehicle or tractor or permit it to stand, whether tended or unattended, upon a highway, or in any of the following places or ways:
(1) 
Within an intersection;
(2) 
On a crosswalk;
(3) 
Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb, or within 30 feet of points on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone, unless local officials shall indicate a different length by signs or markings;
(4) 
Within 25 feet from the intersection of curblines or, if none, then within 15 feet of the intersection of property lines at an intersection of highways;
(5) 
Within 30 feet upon the approach to any official flashing signal, stop sign, or traffic signal located at the side of the roadway;
(6) 
Within 15 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station;
(7) 
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
(8) 
On a sidewalk;
(9) 
In front of a private driveway, or alongside any street or highway excavation or obstruction, nor opposite the same, unless a clear and unobstructed width of not less than 20 feet upon the main traveled position of the said street or highway shall be left free for passage of other vehicles thereon;
(10) 
On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the curb or edge of the highway;
(11) 
At any place where official signs have been erected prohibiting standing and parking, whether permanent or temporary;
(12) 
Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a steam or interurban railway crossing;
(13) 
On the side of the roadway opposite to the direction of oncoming traffic in the nearest lane;
(14) 
Except when necessary in obedience to traffic regulations or traffic signs, signals, or where angle parking is permitted, the operator of a vehicle on the highway within a business or residence district, other than parallel with the edge of the highway or curb. Vehicles, which because of type or construction cannot load or unload parallel to the curb, shall be exempt, while loading or unloading only, from the requirements of standing parallel to the curb.
B. 
No person shall park a vehicle or tractor or permit it to stand either tended or unattended upon property belonging to another person without first having obtained permission from that person to park on the property.[1]

B. 
Private or commercial vehicle parking prohibited. No person shall park a private or commercial vehicle at any time upon any of the following streets or parts thereof:

C. 
Signs. The proper officers of the Township are authorized and directed to purchase and install, in accordance with the provision of the Vehicle Code and the Manual of Regulations for Official Traffic Signs, the necessary signs within such points.[2]

A. 
If in the opinion of the Chairman of the Police Committee, any special function within Marlborough Township shall require the regulation of traffic for the safety of the residents thereof, said Chairman is hereby empowered to direct the Police Department to provide for such regulation of traffic by the erection of signs which shall read "No Parking, Temporary Police Regulation."
B. 
Upon notification by the Chairman of the Police Committee that the above regulations are required due to a special function within the Township, the Chief of Police is hereby empowered to erect the aforesaid "No Parking" signs in places and along thoroughfares and for such periods of time as he in his discretion may deem necessary for the orderly flow of traffic during such special function. Said signs shall be removed at the discretion of the Chief of Police.[1]

Unless another penalty is expressly provided by the Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 101 et seq.) or except as herein specified, every person convicted of a violation of a provision of this article, or any supplement thereto, shall be liable to a penalty of $25 and costs of prosecution, except that in all cases where a police officer of Marlborough Township shall first give notice of the offense by either handing to the offending operator or affixing to the motor vehicle in question a ticket on which he has noted the time and place of the offense, nature of the offense charged, and the license registration of the motor vehicle in question, no prosecution shall be instituted for seven days thereafter; provided that, if during the said seven-day period the offender shall voluntarily appear at the office of the Township Secretary of Marlborough Township during regular business hours and voluntarily enter a plea of guilty and pay a fine of $15 to the Township, no prosecution for such offense shall thereafter be brought.
