When the activity is conducted from a fixed location or from
a vehicle, the permit shall be prominently displayed at either the
location or on the vehicle. In all other cases, the person engaging
in the activity shall have the permit in his possession at all times
and shall display it upon the request of any police officer or any
person with whom he is doing business.
Only the actual permit form issued by the Township may be displayed.
A permit shall not be duplicated or reproduced in any way or manner
and the display of any such duplicate or reproduced permit by anyone
who is engaged in activities otherwise lawful and permitted shall
constitute a violation of this chapter subject to the penalties provided
despite the existence of a valid permit in force issued to the offending
person or persons.
Every permit shall apply only to the person, partnership, corporation
or group to whom it was issued and shall not be transferable. It shall
be a violation by the person to whom the permit is issued to allow
an unauthorized person to use or display the license.
Every permit shall expire at 12:00 midnight local time on December
31 of the year of issuance. Persons holding permits valid for the
current year may renew their permits for the subsequent year during
the month of December of the current year, or at the time of resuming
business activities during the subsequent year.
