The Township may appoint a Qualified Purchasing Agent in accordance
with the terms of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-9. Said individual shall have the
qualifications and licenses set forth in said statute and as required
by N.J.A.C. 5:34-5.1, or their successors, as the same may be amended.
The Qualified Purchasing Agent's duties shall be as described
in said statute and regulation and their successors, he or she shall
be considered a part-time employee, and he or she shall serve for
a term until such time his or her successor is appointed.
The Qualified Purchasing Agent shall receive compensation as
set by the Township Committee in its Annual Salary Ordinance.
