All fire hydrants within the Town of Charlton that are fed by
a municipal water line will be red in color and with the bonnet of
said hydrant to be painted to adhere to the National Fire Protection
Association (N.F.P.A.) (291 2-1, 2-2) color code marking for water
flow.
All fire hydrants within the Town of Charlton that are fed by
a private water line will be yellow in color and with the bonnet of
said hydrant to be painted to adhere to the National Fire Protection
Association (N.F.P.A.) (291 2-1, 2-2) color code marking for water
flow.
All decorative fire hydrants within the Town of Charlton will
be blue in color.
