A. All
regular full-time employees, except Police, who work shifts, shall
observe the following holidays as days off with pay:
New Year's Day

Labor Day
|
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
|
Veterans' Day
|
Presidents' Day
|
Thanksgiving Day
|
Memorial Day
|
Day after Thanksgiving
|
Independence Day
|
Christmas Day
|
B. Since
Police working shifts are subject to duty on holidays, all shift-duty
Police shall be paid one (1) day's pay for each holiday in addition
to their regular pay, whether on duty or not.

An employee shall forfeit his right to holiday pay if he has
an unexcused absence on the last regular work day preceding such holiday
or on the next regular work day following such holiday.
