In order to exercise the powers and authority granted by the
Revised Statutes of Missouri, there is hereby created a Planning and
Zoning Commission to be known as the Warson Woods Planning and Zoning
Commission.

There shall be a City of Warson Woods Planning and Zoning Commission
consisting of seven (7) citizen members appointed by the Mayor and
approved by the Board. The Planning and Zoning Commission may also
include the Mayor, if the Mayor chooses to be a member, and a member
of the Board of Aldermen selected by the Board, if the Board chooses
to have a member serve on the Commission.

The Commission shall elect from its citizen members its own
Chairman and Secretary and from time to time adopt such rules and
regulations, not inconsistent with the Code of the City, for its own
organization and procedure as it may deem proper. The term of Chairman
and Secretary shall be for one (1) year with eligibility for re-election.

The Commission shall make annual reports to the Board of Aldermen
covering their investigations, transactions and recommendations and
such other and further reports relative thereto as it may deem proper,
or as it may be required by the Board of Aldermen; and said Commission
may employ such City zoning experts, engineers, clerks, and other
persons as may be authorized by the Board of Aldermen, whose salaries
and compensations and other expenses of said Commission and its members
shall be provided for at the discretion of the Board of Aldermen by
proper appropriations or ordinances.

The powers and duties of the Commission shall be to prepare
a comprehensive and consolidated zoning map; to recommend the boundaries
of the districts, and the appropriate regulations to be enforced therein.
Such Commission shall make a preliminary report and hold public hearings
thereon before submitting its final report. Such Commission shall
have all the powers, duties and obligations authorized and imposed
by State Law.

Any citizen member of the Commission may be removed by the Board
of Aldermen at any time for cause stated in writing and after public
hearing.
