The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to uniformed employees (members of the Fire and Police Departments) to the extent that the personnel policies of those departments (Chapter
203, Article
I, entitled "Fire Department" and Chapter
200 entitled "Police Department") conflict with this Article.

The Mayor, City Administrator, City Attorney and Acting President
of the Board of Aldermen shall jointly review all disciplinary actions
taken in respect to employees of the City on at least a semi-annual
basis. Said participants shall sign a confidentiality/non-disclosure
agreement prior to such review. If practical, said reviews shall be
conducted in June and December of each calendar year, and may be conducted
at more frequent intervals if deemed necessary. All employees and
officials of the City of Dexter are required to fully cooperate in
such reviews.
