This shall be the fee schedule for all applications and activities within the Town of Chenango.
This chapter is intended to be consistent with and is adopted pursuant to the authority granted to the Town Board of the Town of Chenango under the New York State Constitution, the laws of the State of New York, including the general powers set forth under § 64 of the Town Law, and relevant provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law.

This chapter is intended to supersede and amend the following chapters and provisions of the Code.[1]

During the time this chapter is in effect, it is the specific intent to supersede any inconsistent provisions of any and all other local ordinances, local laws, local resolutions or policies of the Town of Chenango.

The provisions of this chapter are separable, and if any provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid, unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, words, or parts of this chapter or their application to other persons or circumstances. It is hereby declared to be the legislative intent that this chapter would have been adopted if such illegal, invalid, or unconstitutional provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part had not been included therein, and as if such person or circumstance to which this chapter or part thereof is held inapplicable had been specifically exempt therefrom.

All ordinances, local laws, and parts thereof inconsistent with this chapter are hereby repealed.

This chapter shall take effect immediately upon filing with the New York State Secretary of State in accordance with § 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law.

All fees in this chapter can be increased or decreased by resolution of the Town Board from time to time.
