The purpose of this article is to change the term of the elective Town Clerk of the Town of Chenango from the present two-year term to a four-year term.
Effective January 1, 1981, the term of the Town Clerk of the Town of Chenango shall be four years.
This article is subject to a mandatory referendum pursuant to the provisions of § 23 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York.[1]
