Definitions. Whenever in this Section the following items
are used, they shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them.
AUTOMOBILE SALVAGE YARDS
Any yard, lot, premises, parcel or tract of land in or upon
which is placed, stored or kept any automobile or motor vehicle of
any kind for the purpose of wrecking, dismantling, taking apart, removing
parts therefrom or salvaging either automobiles or motor vehicles
or parts thereof whether for resale, reuse or other disposition.
AUTOMOBILE WRECKING YARDS
Any yard, lot, premises, parcel or tract of land in or upon
which is placed, stored or kept any automobile or motor vehicle of
any kind for the purpose of wrecking, dismantling, taking apart or
removing parts therefrom so as to render them incapable of being operated.
JUNK YARDS
Any yard, lot, premises, parcel or tract of land in or upon
which is placed, stored or kept any of the following: junk, rags,
old rope, paper or bagging, used pipes, used plumbing or housing fixtures
or supplies, secondhand material, worn or discarded material, surplus,
used brass, used copper, used aluminum, used steel or other used metals
or wire, empty bottles, or used automotive parts or equipment, regardless
of whether or not any of the foregoing items are considered to be
antique.
SALVAGE YARDS
Any yard, lot, premises, parcel or tract of land in or upon
which is placed, stored or kept for the purpose of wrecking, dismantling,
reconstructing, rebuilding, resale, reuse or salvaging either in its
original form or some other form or shape any of the following: junk,
rags, old rope, paper or bagging, used pipes, used plumbing or heating
fixtures or supplies, secondhand material, worn or discarded material,
surplus, used brass, used copper, used aluminum, used steel or other
used metals or wire, empty bottles, or used automotive parts or equipment,
regardless or whether or not any of the foregoing items are considered
to be antique.
