There is hereby created in and for the City the office of Chief
of Police.

The Chief of Police shall possess all of the qualifications
prescribed for Councilmen.

The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the City Manager and
shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager.

In addition to all duties and requirements imposed by ordinance
and Statute, the Chief of Police shall perform such other duties as
may be required of him/her by the City Manager.
