A. 
Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with law or the directions of a Police Officer or official traffic control device, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle:
1. 
On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
2. 
On a sidewalk;
3. 
Within an intersection;
4. 
On a crosswalk;
5. 
Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic;
6. 
Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upon a highway or within a highway tunnel;
7. 
Within fifteen (15) feet of a fire hydrant;
8. 
In front of any part of a public or private driveway upon citizen complaint;
9. 
Upon any street or alley in such a manner and in such conditions as to leave available less than ten (10) feet of the width of the roadway for free movement of vehicular traffic;
10. 
Upon any roadway for the principal purposes of displaying such vehicle for sale;
11. 
At any place where official signs prohibit parking;
12. 
Within forty (40) feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic control signal located at the side of the road;
13. 
Within fifty (50) feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing;
14. 
Within twenty (20) feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of the roadway opposite the entrance to any fire station within seventy-five (75) feet of said entrance (when properly signposted); or
15. 
Within ten (10) feet of any mailbox used for rural free delivery.
16. 
At such locations as set forth by separate ordinance or as set forth on Schedule III to this Code.
B. 
No person shall move a vehicle not owned by such person into any such prohibited area or away from a curb, such a distance as is unlawful.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for the driver, operator or owner of any motor vehicle to enter into, stop, stand or park any vehicle on any posted private property without the expressed or implied consent of the owner, lessee or person in charge of the private property.
B. 
Posted shall mean displaying of a sign no smaller than six (6) inches in height and eighteen (18) inches in width exposed to public view and located at some prominent location on the private property bearing substantially the following information:
PRIVATE PARKING — NO PARKING WITHOUT CONSENT OF OWNER OR LESSEE, ORDINANCE 19.1106 OF THE CITY OF CALIFORNIA, MISSOURI.
C. 
If at any time a vehicle is parked in violation of the provisions of this Section, the Police Department upon complaint of the owner, lessee or person in charge of the private property where the vehicle is parked, may remove or cause the same to be removed and to be dealt with in accordance with Section 360.050 of this Title.

No motor vehicle, trailer, truck, boat, semi-tractor trailer or any other vehicle of whatever description shall park on the north side of Aurora Street in the City of California, Missouri. The necessary signs to regulate parking shall be erected by the City of California, Missouri.
