In accordance with Section 325.040 of this Title, no person driving or operating a motor vehicle shall turn such motor vehicle around so that same is turned in the direction opposite the direction in which it was proceeding prior to the turn, or make what is commonly known as a "U" turn at any of the following named street intersections in the City of California, Missouri, to-wit:
