A. 
Charges for use of water for all residential and commercial users shall be at the following rates: The minimum rate charged to each water customer for the use of water, each month, shall be four dollars ($4.00) for the first one thousand (1,000) gallons. Each customer who uses an amount of water in excess of one thousand (1,000) gallons up to and including one hundred thousand (100,000) gallons of water per month shall be charged and shall pay for said usage at the rate of one dollar fifty-two cents ($1.52) per one thousand (1,000) gallons used.
B. 
The Water Supply District rates shall be one dollar seventy-five cents ($1.75) per one thousand (1,000) gallons for all usage.
C. 
Cargill, Inc. rates shall be eight hundred seventy-five dollars ($875.00) for the first one hundred thousand (100,000) gallons. For all usage over one hundred thousand (100,000) gallons, one dollar forty-three cents ($1.43) per one thousand (1,000) gallons.

A. 
The Department of Utilities of the City of California, Missouri, be and it is hereby authorized to sell City water at its discretion to persons, firms and corporations located outside the corporate limits of the City of California, Missouri.
B. 
The rates for water so furnished to persons, firms and corporations outside the corporate limits shall be double the rates which are now, or hereafter may be, charged to persons, firms and corporations within the corporate limits of the City of California, Missouri.
C. 
The City of California, Missouri, and its Department of Utilities shall construct no lines or other facilities outside the corporate limits of the City, for carrying water outside the corporate limits, unless for the City's own purpose and not for the benefit of any one (1) individual. All expenses of carrying water beyond the City limits shall be borne by the persons, firms and corporations who apply to purchase such water.
The City of California is authorized to enter into agreement with major water customers and to establish specific rates for the sale of water to said customers. The City shall establish such rates by contract, ratified by ordinance. The schedule of such rates shall be maintained in the office of the City Clerk of the City.
