All references in any prior ordinance to the Township Council,
Board of Health or any board, body, department or office shall be
taken and construed to mean such board, body, officer or office to
which the respective functions, powers and duties are allocated and
assigned by this code.

Until otherwise provided by ordinance, the rates of compensation
heretofore established for persons holding office or employment on
the effective date of the code shall be continued. There is hereby
established the following salaries for the positions listed below
for the year 2020, retroactive to January 1, 2020:

Pension Fund membership and the rights of any officer or employee
shall not, without his consent, be adversely affected by any transfer
pursuant to this chapter. The Business Administrator shall provide,
by appropriate regulation, for necessary records, contribution controls
and otherwise for the further protection of the Pension Fund membership
and rights of officers and employees in accordance with this section
as need appears.
Any function, office or employment not reconstituted or continued
by this chapter shall be deemed abolished; however, no full-time employee
or employment shall be terminated by the operation of this provision
alone.
