[Adopted 4-27-2010 by Ord. No. 10-2010 (Ch. 43, Art. II, of the 1990 Code); amended in its entirety 1-31-2017 by Ord. No. 4-2017]
No Township elected official shall accept health benefits under the Township's Health Benefit Program administered by the state where there is a cost to the Township in providing such benefits. Nothing in this article is intended to preclude an elected official to obtain said health benefits where there is no cost to the Township and where the entire cost of said benefits is being borne by the elected official who chooses to obtain said benefits.
Each elected official shall execute the necessary form to waive his or her entitlement to health benefits except as set forth in § 63-5. No elected official shall receive any incentive, monetary or otherwise, made available as a result of the waiver of health benefits under the New Jersey State Health Benefits Program.
