A. 
There is hereby created and established the position of Public Works Foreman.
B. 
The qualifications for the position of Public Works Foreman shall be set by the Township Committee. The nature and extent of services performed by said Public Works Foreman are as defined in a job description approved by the Township Committee and on file with the Township Clerk and open to public inspection at the Township Clerk's Office forthwith upon introduction of this article.
C. 
The remuneration for this added title shall be fixed and adopted by the Township Committee in the Annual Salary Ordinance of the Township.[1]In the event that the person hired for this position is already employed by the Public Works Department, the position of Public Works Foreman shall be paid as a fixed stipend for holding a dual title while also holding an existing position in the Public Works Department.

If any section, subdivision, sentence, clause or phrase of this article shall be held to be invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this article.
All ordinances or parts thereof or resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this article are hereby repealed to the extent of their inconsistency. Nothing in this article, however, shall affect the rights and tenure of any elected official.
A. 
This article shall take effect immediately after final passage and publication as required by law.
B. 
The position of Public Works Foreman shall be deemed to be established effective May 19, 2014.[1]
