As used in this article, the term "smoking" shall include the act of burning any tobacco product of any kind in a cigarette, cigar, pipe, or in any other similar device.
Areas of the Borough's parks and playgrounds and areas of recreation in the Borough of Morrisville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, are designated tobacco-free, and smoking is prohibited except in certain designated areas of parks, playgrounds and recreation areas.
Smoking and tobacco use shall be confined to the parking lots of the Borough parks and playgrounds and recreation areas, and if there is no parking lot, user patrons must use their motor vehicles for smoking.
The areas designated as parks and playgrounds and recreation areas are Williamson Park, County Tax Parcel No. 24-009-210; Manor Park Play Area, County Tax Parcel No. 24-012-077-1; Morrisville Lake, County Tax Parcel No. 24-010-274-1; Graystones Nature Preserve, County Tax Parcel No. 24-007-031; Open Space at Delmorr and Philadelphia Avenues, County Tax Parcel No. 24-012-088-1-A1; and, Open Space at the Morrisville River Front Preserve, County Tax Parcel Nos. 24-012-083 and 24-012-083-2.
Appropriate signage will be posted in designated tobacco-free and smoking-prohibited areas.
Any person or persons violating any provisions of this article or its amendments or the regulations provided therein shall be asked to leave the area. If violators refuse to leave the area after this one warning, violators will be immediately ejected from the parks and playgrounds and recreation areas.
