A certain document, two (2) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Maysville of Maysville, Missouri, being marked and designated as "The BOCA National Plumbing Code, Eighth Edition, 1990," as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City of Maysville in the State of Missouri; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Plumbing Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with the additions, insertions, and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 500.080 of this Article.

All other ordinances or part of ordinance of the City of Maysville, Missouri, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

A. 
Whenever in this Article, or in any rule, regulation, notice or order promulgated by any officer or agency of the City under authority duly vested in him/her or it, any act is prohibited or is declared to be unlawful or an offense, misdemeanor or ordinance violation or the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful or an offense, misdemeanor or ordinance violation, upon conviction of a violation of any such provision of this Article or of any such rule, regulation, notice or order, the violator shall be punished by a fine not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the City or County Jail not exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
B. 
Every day any violation of this Article or any such rule, regulation, notice or order shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
C. 
Whenever any act is prohibited by this Article, by an amendment thereof, or by any rule or regulation adopted thereunder, such prohibition shall extend to and include the causing, securing, aiding or abetting of another person to do said act. Whenever any act is prohibited by this Article, an attempt to do the act is likewise prohibited.
