A. 
Street specifications for residential street construction in the City of Maysville shall meet the following specifications:
1. 
Center line of the street equals the center line of street right-of-way.
2. 
Street shall adhere to final approved plat.
3. 
Street width; street must be same width of the adjoining street.
4. 
Street extensions shall be constructed of the same primary material as the existing street.
5. 
Street shall be ditched and tubed to allow drainage.
6. 
Construction:
a. 
Concrete:
(1) 
Base: Four (4) inches minimum of compacted roll stone.
(2) 
Concrete: Six (6) inches of concrete and steel reinforcing mesh six (6) by six (6) on three-inch chairs.
(3) 
Joints: Center line to be key way type with rebar ties four (4) feet long and three (3) feet apart. Saw joints across the width, a minimum of one (1) every fourteen (14) feet. Expansion joints a maximum of ninety-eight (98) feet with dowel pins.
b. 
Asphalt:
(1) 
Base: Five (5) inches minimum of roll stone compacted to ninety-five percent (95%).
(2) 
Surface: Three (3) inches minimum of asphaltic concrete.
(3) 
Fill depth asphalt: Subbase compacted to a minimum of ninety-five percent (95%). Four (4) inches of base asphalt and two (2) inches of surface asphalt put down with three (3) separate lifts. Fabric mat between base asphalt and surface asphalt is recommended.
