Any public right-of-way abutting Rock Lake may be used by the
general public as a means of access to Rock Lake and any piers installed
by the City on or adjacent to the public right-of-way, subject to
the following restrictions and limitations:
A. The public right-of-way and piers may be used only during the hours
beginning at 8:00 a.m. and concluding at 9:00 p.m.
B. No minor child under the age of 10 years may use the public right-of-way
as a means of providing access to Rock Lake or any pier installed
on or adjacent to the right-of-way by the City of Lake Mills unless
accompanied by a parent or other adult.
C. No persons shall possess any glass containers for food or beverages
while using the public right-of-way as a means of access to Rock Lake,
or while using any pier erected on or adjacent to the public right-of-way
by the City of Lake Mills.
D. No minor child under the age of 10 years may use any inflatable raft,
tube or similar flotation device in the waters adjacent to the public
right-of-way unless accompanied by a parent or other adult.
E. No person shall erect or maintain any boat mooring, boat lift, hoist
or motorized boat in the navigable waters adjacent to the public right-of-way.
F. Swimming shall be prohibited in the navigable waters immediately
adjacent to the public right-of-way unless the swimmers are attired
in appropriate swimwear.
G. No person shall fish in the navigable waters immediately adjacent
to the public right-of-way when any person is using the public right-of-way
area as an access to Rock Lake for swimming purposes.
H. No watercraft shall be left unattended.
I. No dogs shall be permitted on the public right-of-way or pier erected
on or adjacent to the public right-of-way.
