All permanent full-time employees of the Town shall receive 11 paid holidays in each year; namely, January 1, Martin Luther King Day, Washington's Birthday, Patriots' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All employees whose duties require working on one of these holidays shall receive another day off with pay.

The Board of Selectmen shall have authority to establish personnel policies for employees of the Town. A public hearing, notice of which is to be posted at least seven days prior to the hearing, shall be held prior to the adoption or change of any personnel policy. For purposes of this bylaw, personnel policies may include any conditions of employment not otherwise governed by state or federal law.
