A.
The City of Velda Village Hills, Missouri, hereby adopts the St.
Louis County Building, Residential, Existing Building, Mechanical,
Plumbing, Electrical and Property Maintenance Codes as amended by
the County of St. Louis, Missouri, through the date of the last amendatory
ordinances:
1.
Building (County Ordinance 24,444 — Approved July 21,
2010).
2.
Residential (County Ordinance 24,427 — Approved July 13,
2010).
3.
Existing Building (County Ordinance 24,444 — Approved
July 21, 2010).
4.
Mechanical (County Ordinance 24,438 — Approved July 14,
2010).
5.
Electrical (County Ordinance 24,439 — Approved July 14,
2010).
6.
Plumbing (County Ordinance 24,441 — Approved July 14,
2010).
7.
Property Maintenance (County Ordinance — 24,440 Approved
July 14, 2010; revised by Ord. No. 25,753, May 7, 2014).
B.
Any person violating any of the provisions of the codes adopted in
this Section shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not exceeding
one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or be imprisoned in the City or County
Jail for a period not exceeding three (3) months, or both such fine
and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted
to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable
as such hereunder.
