All persons, partnerships, firms or corporations owning or possessing any icebox or refrigerator shall, before discontinuing the use thereof for refrigeration or storage purposes, remove the locks, catches or other fastening devices from all doors thereon.

All persons, partnerships, firms or corporations using any icebox or refrigerator outside of a residence or other structure shall keep same locked at all times.
All persons, partnerships, firms or corporations owning or possessing any icebox or refrigerator shall, before discarding or abandoning the same, remove all doors therefrom.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300, together with costs of prosecution, and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
