It shall be unlawful for the driver, operator or owner of any
motor vehicle, boat or trailer to stop, stand or park any motor vehicle,
boat or trailer on any unpaved surface, with unpaved surface construed
to include parking on dirt, mud, grass or other vegetation but which
shall not include asphalt drives, concrete drives, or drives properly
constructed with a compacted finished surface of gravel, for a period
in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours, and which shall not be construed
to bar temporary parking for festivals, fairs, auctions, or similar
community or private events of limited duration. For purposes of this
Article, motor vehicles, boats and trailers shall be construed to
include automobiles, trucks, and recreational vehicles as defined
under Section 301.010, RSMo., a trailer as defined under Section 301.010,
RSMo., (except excluded from the definition of trailer is the single
axle trailer, which is permitted), a truck-tractor as defined in Section
301.010, RSMo., and any motor vehicle as defined under Section 301.010,
RSMo.

Violations of this Article shall be punished by Section
100.040, as amended, of the ordinances of the City of California. Each day the violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
