The unauthorized use or operation of all motor vehicles, both two-wheel and four-wheel drive, and off-road vehicles, including motorcycles, trail bicycles, and snowmobiles. is hereby prohibited at all times on Town-owned lands.

Hunting and/or the use of firearms in the Rye Town Forest (as defined in § 157-6 of this chapter) is strictly prohibited.
Violators of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a violation and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a penalty or a fine of $100.
Town-owned lands as stated in this chapter include those under the jurisdiction of the Board of Selectmen and all boards and commissions of the Town.
This chapter is adopted for the purpose of preserving the character of, and preventing damage to, the Town-owned lands and for their ecological well-being.
A. 
Description:
(1) 
Rye Recreation Area (Sheet 12, Lot 3, 97 total acres).
(2) 
Land formerly owned by Parsons Park Corporation.
(3) 
Located between Recreation Area and Washington Road, specifically Sheet 13, Lots 97, 98, 99, 101, 102 and 103.
B. 
Purpose and management of the Rye Town Forest shall be consistent with RSA 31:111 and RSA 31:112, respectively, and shall be under the direction of the Rye Conservation Commission. Compatible forms of recreation, such as hiking and ski touring, shall be encouraged on these Town lands.
