A. The following
streets or portions of streets within the City are hereby designated
as snow emergency routes:
Bernhard Street
|
Clay Street
|
Fifth Street
|
Fourteenth Street, High Street to
Highway 47
|
Front Street
|
Grand Avenue
|
High Street, Highway 100 to Front
Street
|
International Avenue, Highway 100
to Fifth Street
|
Jefferson Street
|
Madison Avenue, south of Third Street
|
Main Street, west of Park Drive,
North
|
B. Posting Of Signs. On each street designated as a snow emergency
route, the City Traffic Engineer shall post special signs with the
wording:
"Snow Emergency Routes
|
No Parking During Emergency
|
Tow Away Zone"
|
These signs shall be distinctive
and uniform in appearance and shall be plainly readable to persons
traveling on the street or highway.

C. Parking On Secondary Street. Parking shall be permitted only
on the even-numbered sides of secondary streets on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays and on the odd-numbered secondary streets on Sundays,
Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays during the time the snow emergency
is in effect. However, nothing in this Section shall be construed
to permit parking at any time or place where it is forbidden by any
other provision of law.
D. Additional Parking Prohibitions. In addition to the parking restrictions along snow emergency routes as outlined in Section
395.060 and along secondary streets as outlined in above Subsection, the City Traffic Engineer may also prohibit parking along other streets or portions of streets for the purpose of snow removal, following public announcement as outlined in Section
395.030.
