A.
Pursuant to General Municipal Law § 856, an Industrial
Development Agency shall consist of not less than three nor more than
seven members.
B.
Currently, the Albany County Industrial Development Agency has a
membership of five.
C.
An increase in members would afford the Agency a more diversified
membership, thus broadening and enriching the Agency's perspective
in addressing economic development issues for Albany County.
The Legislature finds it is in the best interest of Albany County
to expand the membership of the Albany County Industrial Development
Agency to seven members.
