§ 12.1-1 SCHEDULE I: NO PARKING.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-2.2 no person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the following described streets.

Brielle Avenue	West	Starting from the southerly curb line of Sunset Avenue running thence in a southerly direction to a point 710 feet south of the southerly curb line of Hopewell Avenue.
Brielle Avenue	East	Starting from a point 630 feet south of the southerly curb line of Sunset Avenue running thence in a southerly direction to a point 710 feet south of the southerly curb line of Hopewell Avenue.
Camp Avenue [Ord. No. 2014-2236]	West	Beginning from the northern most portion of the driveway to Block 120, Lot 10, running thence in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 100 feet.

Laurel Avenue [Added 6-25-2020 by Ord. No. 2341; amended 9-9-2021 by Ord. § 12.1-5B SCHEDULE VB: ROUTE FOR TRUCKS OVER FOUR TONS.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-3A.1 the following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as "Route for Trucks Over Four Tons;" all trucks having a total combined gross weight of vehicle plus load in excess of four tons shall be excluded from all other streets.

§ 12.1-6 SCHEDULE VI: ONE-WAY STREETS.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-4.1 the following described streets or parts of streets are designated as "One-Way Streets" in the direction indicated.

Areas Designated. The easterly driveway of a property known as Lot 5 of Block 1.05 located 122 feet west of the westerly curb line of Kings Highway shall be designated as a one-way entrance from West Park Avenue into the parking lot.

The westerly driveway of a property known as Lot 5 of Block 1.05 located 248 feet west of the westerly curb line of Kings Highway shall be designated as a one-way exit out of the parking lot onto West Park Avenue.

§ 12.1-7 SCHEDULE VII: THROUGH STREETS.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-5.1, the following described streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as "Through Streets." Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street except where yield signs are provided for in the designation.

No person shall make a left turn traveling south from the southerly driveway onto eastbound Deal Road from a property known as Lot 4 of Block 34. Lot 4 of Block 34 is located on the northwest corner of State Highway 35 and Deal Road. This driveway is located 176 feet west of the westerly curb line of southbound State Highway 35.

No person shall make a left turn at the intersection of West Park Avenue and the driveway of Lot 26 Block 34 which is located 620 feet west of the westerly curb line of State Highway 35 for the movements listed below:

Westbound on West Park Avenue to southbound onto the driveway of Lot 26 Block 34.

No person shall make a left turn at the intersection of Deal Road and the easterly driveway of Middlebrook Plaza (Lot #73 and 78 of Block #182 located 360 feet west of the westerly curbline of Route NJ 35) for the movements listed below:

§ 12.1-19A SCHEDULE XIXA: PARKING TEMPORARILY PROHIBITED DURING EMERGENCY.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-12.2 no person shall park a vehicle upon streets or parts of streets which may be designated no parking under the conditions set forth below.

a.	Emergencies	Upon the declaration of an emergency, there shall be no parking upon streets or parts of streets where temporary "Emergency No Parking" signs are displayed. The chief of police or in his absence, the ranking police officer is authorized to declare an emergency and to direct the posting of said "Emergency No Parking" signs when weather conditions, accidents, fires or public celebrations dictate or require the avoidance of hazards or other conditions which interfere with the free flow of traffic. Notification that the "Emergency No Parking" signs are being or will be posted shall be given to the operator or owner of any vehicle which has been parked prior to the posting of the signs.
b.	Removal of Vehicles	Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation of this section shall be deemed a nuisance and any peace officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage, which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.
c.	Sign Provision	The effectiveness of this provision is contingent on signs being erected as required by law.

§ 12.1-20 SCHEDULE XX: REGULATION OF PARKING ON BOARD OF EDUCATION PROPERTY.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-13.1 no person shall park a vehicle on board of education property unless conforming to the following provisions:

No person shall park a vehicle at any time except in designated areas and between the painted lanes.

No parking of vehicles shall be permitted along the curb at the front of the Township High School building.

No parking of vehicles shall be permitted along the main entrance and exit driveways leading into and out of the Township High School.

No student shall park a vehicle in the parking lot located in the front of the Township High School.

No student shall park a vehicle in any area other than that space specifically assigned to him by the school administration designated by the letter "P" for pupil located at the rear of the Township High School on the west side.

All student vehicles permitted to be parked shall be identified by a red decal provided by the school administration to be placed on the vehicle registered with the administration containing the letters O.T.H.S. and a number which shall be placed in the rear window of the vehicle.

§ 12.1-21 SCHEDULE XXI: TRAFFIC SIGNALS.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-14.1 the intersections listed below will be controlled by traffic signals which have met the conditions set forth in Subsection 12-14.1.

§ 12.1-21A SCHEDULE XXIA: CHANNELIZATION.

In accordance with the provisions of Subsection 12-14A.1, the following described locations shall have channelization installed and maintained:

§ 12.1-22 SCHEDULE XXII: REGULATION OF THE MOVEMENT OF TRAFFIC ON MUNICIPAL PROPERTY.

In accordance with the provisions of section 12-16, no person shall operate a vehicle in violation of the following regulations:

Township Municipal Complex.

Parking: No person shall park a vehicle except in designated areas and between the painted lines.

Stop Intersections: Two stop signs shall be installed at the northwestern end of the Township building, regulating westbound traffic using the center driveway (that driveway bordering the north side of the Township building) and regulating northbound traffic using the easterly driveway of the western parking lot.

A stop sign shall be installed at the intersection of the center driveway and the westerly driveway of the westerly parking lot regulating westbound traffic.

Handicapped Parking: Two handicapped parking stalls shall be located at the most southerly parking stalls of the easterly parking lot. Two handicapped stalls shall be located at the two most southeasterly parking stalls of the westerly parking lots.

Time Limit Parking: Eight parking stalls limiting parking to one-half hour between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays shall be located at the eight most northerly parking stalls of the easterly parking lots.

Reserved for Police/Administration Vehicles: Police vehicle parking shall be located along the center driveway. Specifically, 21 stalls along the north side of the center driveway extending past the Township building, and 10 stalls located on the south side of the center driveway.

Police vehicle/equipment parking shall also be located in the northwest corner of the north and west driveways. Specifically, the last six stalls of the west driveway and the first four stalls of the northernmost driveway. Township administration vehicles shall park in the 13 northernmost stalls in the north driveway, east of the four police vehicles/equipment. See attached diagram for clarification. (The diagram may be found on file in the Township offices.)

Speed Limit: The speed limit for all directions of traffic in the parking lots shall be 10 m.p.h.

One-Way: The center driveway shall be designated as a one-way westbound.

Tow Away: Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grass area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's expense.

Reserved for Official Use: Two parking stalls directly north of the handicapped spaces in the easterly lot shall be reserved for official use.

Reserved for Township Administration Vehicles: Parking for administration vehicles shall be located in the northern parking lot. Specifically, 13 stalls along the north side of the northern parking lot beginning from the last stall reserved for police vehicles and counting east.

Township Pool Complex.

Parking: No person shall park a vehicle except in designated areas and between the painted lines.

Handicapped Parking: Eight handicapped parking stalls shall be located at the northeastern center section of the northern parking lot.

Speed Limit: The speed limit for both directions of traffic in the parking lot shall be 10 m.p.h.

Tow Away: Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, zones, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's expense.

One-Way Streets: The following described streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated:

Entrance and Exits: The following described driveway connecting Louise Weltz Lane with the Pool parking lot shall be designated as an entrance only.

Lane Use: The following intersections are hereby designated as lane use:

Pool Driveway at West Park Avenue:

Right lane must turn right.

Left lane must turn left.

West Park Recreation.

No person shall park a vehicle except in designated areas and between the painted lines.

Handicapped Parking: Two handicapped stalls shall be located at the two parking stalls located east of the main entrance to the recreation center, and one handicapped stall shall be located in front of the main entrance to the Human Services Center.

Speed Limit: The speed limit for both directions of traffic in the parking lot shall be 10 m.p.h.

Tow Away: Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills and grass area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard, may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's expense.

Sunset Avenue Parking Lot (Block 11, Lot 14).

One handicapped parking stall shall be located adjacent to the easterly entrance of the building which is located west of the parking lot. The building is located on Block 111, Lot 26.

Human Services Center and Historical Museum.

No person shall park a vehicle except in designated areas and between the painted lines. There shall be no parking on the main driveways to and from the Human Services Center and Historical Museum.

Handicapped Parking: One handicapped parking stall shall be located in front of the main entrance to the Human Services Center. One handicapped parking stall shall be located in front of the main entrance to the Historical Museum.

Tow Away: Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct or impede the normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, grass areas or lawns, pedestrian walkways, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard, may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's expense.

Stop Intersections: A stop sign shall be installed on the southwestern end of the main driveway at Deal Road.

Traffic Designation: Traffic shall flow in both directions on the main driveways to the Human Services Center and Historical Museum.

Township Library.

No person shall park a vehicle except in designated areas and between painted lines.

Handicapped Parking: There shall be four parking stalls located in front of the main entrance to the library.

Stop Intersections: A stop sign shall be installed at the eastern end of the main driveway from the Township Library.

Traffic Designation: Traffic shall flow in both directions throughout the library parking area and main driveway.

Township of Ocean Community Gym and Sports Complex, 1100 West Park Avenue.

No person shall park a vehicle except in designated areas and between the painted lines.

Handicapped Parking: Three handicapped parking stalls located east of the main entrance.

Entrance and Exit: The westernmost driveway shall be an entrance only. The easternmost driveway shall be an exit only.

§ 12.1-23 SCHEDULE XXIII: REGULATION OF TRAFFIC AND PARKING ON CERTAIN SEMIPUBLIC OR PRIVATE ROADS, STREETS AND PARKING AREAS.

Provident Court Townhouse Condominium Complex.

General Parking:

(a)

All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided.

(b)

No person shall stop and stand a vehicle upon any streets or parts of streets described below.

Through Streets: The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as "Through Streets." Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street except where yield signs are provided for in the designation.

Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above designated speed limits authorized by the Department of Transportation.

Tow Away Zones: Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's expense.

Signs: That all signs, posts, or other necessary materials be installed and paid for by the applicant. All signing shall conform to the current Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-198 and N.J.S.A. 39:4-183.27.

Penalties: Unless another penalty is expressly provided for by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of this section or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days or both.
