There is hereby adopted the provisions of N.J.A.C. 8:26-1 et seq., as amended and supplemented, entitled "Public Recreational Bathing."
The purpose of this chapter shall be to set sanitary and safety regulations for public recreational bathing places and to preserve and improve the public health in the Borough as provided for in N.J.S.A. 26:1A-7. (N.J.A.C. 8:26-1.1)

Three copies of the standards adopted herein are on file in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Health and shall remain on file in said office for the use and examination by the public.

Any person who violates any provision of, or order, promulgated under this chapter or the standards established herein, shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty of not less than $50, nor more than $1,000 for each violation. Each day a particular violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
