No person or persons shall feed, cause to be fed or provide food for Canada Geese in the Borough of Rumson, on lands either publicly or privately owned.

This chapter shall not be construed to prohibit humane acts toward Canada Geese in individual cases, such as the temporary nurturing of a wounded bird on one's own premises.

No person shall abandon, leave or discard any Canada Geese upon any public or private property within the Borough of Rumson.

The Police Department, Code Enforcement Officer and the Board of Health are hereby authorized and directed to enforce the provisions of this chapter.

Any person(s), firm(s) or corporation(s) who violates or neglects to comply with any provision of this chapter or any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant thereto shall be subject to penalty as stated in Chapter 3, Section 3-1.
