A. 
No person shall stand or park a vehicle in a roadway in any other manner than parallel with the edge of the roadway, headed in the direction of traffic, and with the curbside wheels of the vehicle within 12 inches of the edge of the regularly established curbline or as close as practicable to the edge of the shoulder, except that upon those streets which have been marked, painted or signed for angle parking, vehicles shall be parked at the angle to the curb indicated by such marks, painting or signs.
B. 
Where parking spaces on the street or in off-street parking facilities of the Village are designated by marks, painting or signs, no person shall park a vehicle in such manner as to occupy two spaces. All vehicles shall be so parked as not to interfere with or obstruct the parking of vehicles in adjacent spaces, except as follows: Vehicles of the Second Division, as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, may be parked parallel in more than one space if the length of said vehicle so requires; provided said vehicle shall not be parked so as to obstruct other traffic.
C. 
When appropriate marks, painting or signs are erected designating the same as spaces for parking by persons with disabilities, whether on-street or off-street, no vehicle shall be parked or stopped or left standing in such designated spaces except vehicles bearing special registration plates issued for operation of vehicles by or for persons with disabilities or vehicles displaying a decal for persons with disabilities.

A. 
Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or official traffic-control device, no person shall:
(1) 
Stop, stand or park a vehicle:
(a) 
On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
(b) 
On a sidewalk;
(c) 
Within an intersection;
(d) 
On a crosswalk;
(e) 
Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within 30 feet of points on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone, unless a different length is indicated by signs or markings;
(f) 
Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic;
(g) 
Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upon a highway or within a highway tunnel;
(h) 
On any railroad tracks. A violation of any part of this Subsection A(1)(h) shall result in a mandatory fine of $500 or 50 hours of community service;
(i) 
At any place where official signs prohibit stopping;
(j) 
On any controlled-access highway;
(k) 
In the area between roadways of a divided highway, including crossovers;
(l) 
In a public parking area if the vehicle does not display a current annual registration sticker or digital registration sticker or current temporary permit pending registration.
(2) 
Stand or park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except momentarily to pick up or discharge passengers:
(a) 
In front of a public or private driveway;
(b) 
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
(c) 
Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection;
(d) 
Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing signal, stop sign, yield sign or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway;
(e) 
Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of such entrance (when properly sign-posted);
(f) 
At any place where official signs prohibit standing.
(3) 
Park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading property or passengers:
(a) 
Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing;
(b) 
At any place where official signs prohibit parking.
B. 
No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his control into any such prohibited area or away from a curb such distance as is unlawful.
Except on Sundays or holidays, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle for a longer consecutive period of time than that designated between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in any area designated as limited parking area and so marked.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, parking is hereby prohibited between the hours of 6:00 p.m. each day and 6:00 a.m. the next day except for emergency vehicles:

It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to stand a passenger vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers, not to exceed three minutes, and for the driver to stand any freight-carrying vehicles for a period of time longer than is necessary to load, unload and deliver materials, not to exceed 30 minutes, in any place designated by the President and Board of Trustees as a loading zone and marked as such.
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in such a manner or under conditions so as to leave available less than 10 feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular traffic, and no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within an alley in such a position as to block the driveway entrance to any abutting property.
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle upon any street for the purpose of displaying it for sale, or to park any vehicle upon any business street from which vehicle merchandise is peddled.
Any person authorized by the President and Board of Trustees shall cause signs to be posted in all areas where parking is limited or prohibited, indicating such limitations or prohibitions.
The fact that an automobile which is illegally parked is registered in the name of a person shall be considered prima facie proof that such person was in control of the automobile at the time of such parking.

A. 
No person shall operate any motor vehicle with a gross weight in excess of 16,000 pounds upon any street, road or alleyway within the Village limits where said street, road or alleyway has been posted by an appropriate sign which clearly states that said street, road or alleyway is prohibited for use by vehicles with a gross weight in excess of 16,000 pounds, except that any motor vehicle whose point of origin or delivery is at such place as to make it absolutely necessary for it to use said posted streets, roads or alleyways, provided that such motor vehicle over 16,000 pounds using the streets, roads or alleyways, after picking up or delivering a load, shall seek the nearest unrestricted street.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle exceeding 16,000 pounds' gross vehicle weight upon any property, public or private, within the Village except when picking up or delivering goods or persons.
C. 
Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be fined in accordance with § 705-13.

A. 
Initial violation. Any person accused of any violation of § 705-49 through § 705-55 or § 705-62 of this chapter regarding a parked or standing vehicle or off loading may settle and compromise the claim against him or her for such illegal parking, standing or off loading by paying the sum of $25 within seven days of the alleged violation.
B. 
Failure to pay. In the event the alleged offender who receives any such ticket fails to pay the sum as required above, the fine will be increased to $50. In the event the alleged offender fails to pay the fine within an additional seven days, the fine will be increased to $150. If the alleged offender does not pay this amount within an additional 14 days, the total balance due and payable to the Village will be turned over to a collection agency chosen by the Village to pursue collection
C. 
Payment place, payment ticket designated. The President of the Village Board shall be empowered to designate a conspicuous place or places for such payments and to designate or cause to be designated tickets for the convenient payment thereof.

No person shall park any vehicle on S.B.I. Route 121 or on any shoulder along S.B.I. Route 121 when signs are erected giving notice that such parking is unlawful. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 705-59 of this chapter, any person accused of violating this section may settle and compromise the claim against him or her for such illegal parking by paying the sum of $50 within seven days of the alleged violation. In the event the alleged offender fails to pay the fine within an additional seven days, the fine will be increased to $150. If the alleged offender does not pay this amount within an additional 14 days, the total balance due and payable to the Village will be turned over to a collection agency chosen by the Village to pursue collection. A. 
No person shall stand or park a vehicle which is not bearing registration plates or decals issued to a person with disabilities or a disabled veteran as defined by Illinois Compiled Statutes, as evidence that the vehicle is operated by or for a person with disabilities or disabled veteran, in any parking place, including any private or public off-street parking facility, specifically reserved, by marking or the posting of an official sign, for motor vehicles bearing such registration plates.
B. 
Any person or local authority owning or operating any public or private off-street parking facility may, after notifying the Police Department, remove or cause to be removed to the nearest garage or other place of safety any vehicle parking within a stall or space reserved by use for persons with disabilities which does not display registration plates for persons with disabilities or a special decal or device as required under this section.
C. 
Notwithstanding the provisions of § 705-59 of this chapter, any person accused of violating the provisions of this section may settle and compromise the claim against him or her by paying the sum of $250, in addition to any costs or charges connected with the removal of storage of any motor vehicle authorized under this section, which sum shall be paid within 14 days of the alleged violation.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, parking and off loading is hereby prohibited on school days on West Street, between West Warren Street and West Henson Street, except for emergency vehicles, or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device.
