This Township provides Paid Time Off to all full-time permanent
employees after their probationary period has ended; however, no employee
shall be entitled to a Paid Time Off prior to the completion of six
months of consecutive service.

Following completion of the first year service, full-time employees
of the Township of Upper Freehold will receive annual Paid Time Off
leave as follows:

Employees must schedule their Paid Time Off for four days or
more with their Supervisor or Department Head at least two weeks in
advance of their Paid Time Off in triplicate on the form provided
by the Business Administrator for that purpose. Employees must schedule
their Paid Time Off for two or three days in length with their Supervisor
or Department Head at least one week in advance of the Paid Time Off.
After signing his/her approval, the Supervisor or Department Head
shall turn the form over to the Business Administrator. An approved
copy of the form will be returned to the employee and a copy forwarded
to the Finance Officer. The employee shall make every effort to schedule
their Paid Time Off so as to not coincide with Paid Time Off of other
employees within that Department.
The Department Head and/or Business Administrator shall approve
Paid Time Off in accordance with the best interest and needs of the
Township of Upper Freehold.
