The Board of Health is enacting this chapter establishing the
fees for payment for professional inspection and review costs associated
with the Upper Freehold Township Board of Health's review, analysis,
and inspections made by its personnel and/or agents relating to soil
witness activities and shall be paid for the applicant.
The following Fee Schedule is hereby established for soil witness
activities and inspections made by the Upper Freehold Township Board
of Health through its personnel and/or agents.

An applicant seeking soil test logs to be conducted on proposed
lots must have these test logs witnesses by the Board of Health of
Upper Freehold Township through its personnel and/or agents.

Appointment to Be Scheduled. An applicant must schedule an appointment
for log witnessing through Freehold Area Health Department after the
applicant has paid the Board of Health Assistant Secretary for the
anticipated test logs and travel costs associated with same.

Should more logs be taken than previously anticipated, the applicant
shall be responsible for the balance to the Board of Health Assistant
Secretary for these additional logs. Any application made by the applicant
to any Township Body and/or Department, including but not limited
to the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment or Construction
Office, et al., shall be delayed until the applicant has settled its
account with the Board of Health for the aforementioned additional
fees.

This chapter further recognizes and acknowledges and does not
waive any rights of Upper Freehold Township pursuant to law.
