[Derived from Ch. VIII of the 1978 Code]
As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
The Parking Authority of the Borough of Fort Lee.
A.
Parking of commercial vehicles, as defined in § 388-38, is prohibited on any public street on which there is metered parking, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

B.
Subject to the prohibitions imposed by N.J.S.A. 39:4-138 upon the parking or standing of vehicles in certain places as therein specified, the Mayor and Council, deeming it necessary for the public good and safety, do hereby ordain that parking meter zones be established on the following streets and highways in the Borough and no person shall continuously park a motor vehicle in any zone in excess of the respective maximum time period hereinafter set forth. The fine for violations of this § 289-15 shall be $40.

meters, three-hour zone, then continuing to 364 feet and installing
one meter, three-hour zone, and ending 386 feet on the corner of Hoym
Street and Schlosser Street.

(b)
Six-hour parking meters (LS26-LS33) are hereby authorized to be installed
along the south side of Lewis Street, from Linwood Avenue west to
Fletcher Avenue.
(c)
Parking shall be prohibited on the south side of Lewis Street beginning
at a point 205 feet west of the intersection of Linwood Avenue and
continuing for a distance of 60 feet, said location being the entrance
of Constitution Park.
(19)
Hudson Terrace.
(a)
East side, 35 feet south of the entrance to
Fort Lee Historical Park and thence south for 300 feet: 4 hours.
(b)
East side, 35 feet north of Bigler Street and
thence north to 35 feet south of Sylvan Street: 3 hours.

north therefrom.
(d)
Three-hour angular parking is hereby authorized along the east side
of Fletcher Avenue, beginning at a point 270 feet north of Main Street
and continuing to a point 144 feet south of the intersection of Lewis
Street and Fletcher Avenue.
(e)
Parking shall be prohibited on the east side of Fletcher Avenue from
the intersection of Lewis Street for a distance of 144 feet southerly
therefrom.
(21)
Old Cross Street.
(a)
South side, 35 feet east of entrance to George
Washington Bridge 500 feet east: 12 hours.
(22)
Angioletti Place.
(a)
Both sides; beginning at a point 35 feet east
of the curbline of Parker Avenue and thence west to a point 35 feet

Twenty-four-hour pay-and-display meters are
hereby authorized to be installed along the east side of Bigler Street
from Hudson Terrace, south to Main Street.
(b)
Three-hour parking meters are hereby authorized to be installed
along the west side of Bigler Street, beginning at a point 250 feet
north of Main Street and continuing south to Main Street.
(25)
Parker Avenue.
(a)
Three-hour parking meters are hereby authorized
to be installed along the west side of Parker Avenue beginning at
a point 150 feet south of Main Street and continuing south to a point
35 feet north of Monument Park.
(26)
Inwood Terrace.
(a)
Nine-hour parking meters are hereby authorized
to be installed on the west side of Inwood Terrace, from Anderson
Avenue to Edsall Boulevard. Parking shall be metered from 8:00 a.m.
to 12:00 midnight, excluding Sundays and holidays.
(27)
Hudson Street (between Central Avenue and Main Street).
(a)
One-hour meters are hereby authorized to be installed on both sides
of Hudson Street between Central Avenue and Main Street. Parking shall
be metered from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., excluding Sundays and holidays.
(28)
Central Avenue (south side, between Hudson Street and Park Avenue).
(a)
One-hour meters are hereby authorized to be installed, CA 5
through CA 11, beginning 25 feet from the crosswalk on the south corner
of Hudson Street and Central Avenue, moving in an easterly direction
for 143 feet and shall be metered from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., except
on Sundays and holidays.
(29)
Park Avenue (west side, between Central Avenue and Main Street).
(a)
Three-hour meters are hereby authorized to be installed, PA
1 through PA 7, beginning 40 feet from the apex on the south corner
of Central Avenue and Park Avenue, moving in a southerly direction
for 141 feet, and shall be metered from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., except
on Sundays and holidays.
(30)
Center Avenue (south side, between Lemoine Avenue and Hudson
Street).
(a)
Three-hour "pay by cell only" parking spaces are hereby authorized
to be installed, beginning 25 feet from the crosswalk on the south
corner of Lemoine Avenue and Central Avenue, moving in an easterly
direction for 106 feet, and shall be enforceable from the hours of
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., except Sundays and holidays.
A.
No person shall park a vehicle in the parking meter zones as set forth in § 289-15 unless the vehicle is parked in a parking space in front of which a parking meter is installed and unless the operator of the vehicle deposits in the meter the coins required by this article and designated on the parking meter. The fine for violation of this § 289-16 shall be $20.
A.
Between 8:00 a.m. and midnight on each day except Sunday and legal holidays, the maximum time limit for parking in each parking zone shall be as respectively set forth in § 289-15, with the following exceptions: the 6:00 p.m. limitation shall apply to street meter parking. It shall not apply to any municipal off-street parking lot.

The Authority shall install parking meters and
designate parking meter spaces as provided in this article, and subject
to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-138. It is the responsibility of
the Authority to supervise the use and maintenance of parking meters.
The Authority may, by resolution, fix the amount
of coins to be deposited and the time limits in parking meters for
the use of parking spaces.
Parking meters installed in the parking meter zones established in § 289-15 shall be on the curb immediately adjacent to individual parking spaces. Each parking meter shall be placed so as to display a signal indicating whether the parking space adjacent to the meter is legally in use.
Each parking meter shall indicate the following:
Signs shall be placed in proximity to parking
meters indicating the hours and days when metered parking shall be
enforced.
The Authority shall designate parking spaces
controlled by parking meters.
Operators of vehicles parked in parking meter zones set forth in § 289-15 shall park vehicles in parking spaces designated by meters. Operators shall park vehicles in parking spaces so that the front of the vehicle is nearest to the parking meter.
An operator parking a vehicle in a parking space within a parking meter zone shall immediately deposit in the adjacent parking meter sufficient coin as designated by the meter so that the meter registers parking time by its dial and pointer. No operator shall permit a vehicle to remain parked in parking space adjacent to a meter indicating expired or overtime parking, except during days and hours set forth in § 289-17.
The registered owner of a vehicle shall be liable for violations of this article by the operator of the vehicle, except in the discretion of the Municipal Judge exercised pursuant to § 289-32.
No person shall deposit any device, or substitute for a United States coin in any parking meter located in any parking meter zone as set forth in § 289-15.
No person shall willfully deface, destroy or tamper with any parking meter located in any parking meter zone as set forth in § 289-15.
Police officers or parking enforcement officers
shall place on vehicles parked in violation of this article a notice
informing the owner or operator that the vehicle has been parked in
violation of a provision of this article. Such notice shall contain
the following information:
A.
The number on the parking meter in violation of this
article;
B.
The state license number of the vehicle parked in
violation of this article;
C.
The date and time during which a vehicle is parked
in violation of this article;
D.
The notice shall instruct the owner or operator to
report at the Violations Bureau of the Borough of Fort Lee in regard
to the violation;
E.
Other facts necessary to the understanding of the
circumstances attending a violation of this article.
A.
An owner or operator of a motor vehicle may, within 24 hours preceding the court date appearing on summons when a notice as set forth in § 289-30 was placed on the vehicle, waive hearing and pay to the Clerk of the Fort Lee Municipal Court at the Violations Bureau:
(1)
In satisfaction of a penalty for an overtime violation
a sum of $14; and
(2)
In satisfaction of a penalty for improper parking under §§ 388-4, 388-5, 388-6, 388-8, 388-9, 388-10, 388-11 and 289-36I, the sum of $17. In satisfaction of a penalty for improper parking, as defined by § 388-13B, the sum of $107 as defined in § 388-7, the sum of $32; as defined in § 216-6A(35), the sum of $60.
A person who violates a provision of this article or who aids and abets a person violating this article to whom the procedures of § 289-31 are inapplicable due to the nature of the violation or lack of compliance with the procedures set forth in § 289-31 shall, upon conviction by any judge having jurisdiction over the violation, be subject to a fine of an amount not greater than $50 for each violation or imprisonment for a term not greater than 15 days in any place provided by the municipality for the detention of prisoners, or both.
A.
Terms and conditions. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:11A-22,
the Borough is hereby empowered to enter into an agreement with the
Parking Authority of the Borough, which agreement shall include the
following terms and conditions:
(1)
The Borough shall permit the Parking Authority to
manage and operate the municipal parking lot situated south of South
Marginal Road and north of Main Street, between Center Avenue and
Lemoine Avenue in the Borough.
(2)
The agreement shall commence on July 1, 1973, and
terminate on June 30, 1976.
(3)
The agreement shall be renewable for additional three-year
terms upon resolution of the Borough Council and the Parking Authority.
(4)
During the term of this agreement, the Parking Authority
shall reimburse the Borough for all payments of principal and interest
on the mortgage held by the Port of New York Authority with respect
to said municipal parking lot, less all rentals received by the Borough
from the Port of New York Authority with respect to the municipal
parking lot.
(5)
During the term of the agreement, the Parking Authority
shall pay to the Borough an annual fee for the use of the municipal
parking lot in the amount of 60% of the net revenues derived from
the operation of the facility.
(6)
During the term of the agreement, the Parking Authority
shall at its own cost and expense make all repairs necessary or required
to the facility.
(7)
The agreement may be terminated by the Borough upon
90 days' notice in writing to the Parking Authority, provided that
in such event the Borough shall reimburse the Parking Authority for
the unamortized portion of any capital expenditures incurred by the
Parking Authority in connection with the operation of the municipal
parking lot.
(8)
Such other terms and conditions not inconsistent with
the foregoing, but in furtherance thereof, as may be deemed advisable
by the Borough Attorney.
B.
Approval of Borough Council. Any such agreement shall
not become effective until approved in its final form by resolution
of the Borough Council.

A.
Installation of parking meters, pay stations, mobile pay or permit
parking only authorized. The Parking Authority of the Borough is hereby
authorized and directed to provide for permit parking only, parking
meters, pay stations, and mobile pay.

B.
Parking stalls to be marked. The Parking Authority
shall mark the pavement adjacent to each parking meter installed in
the municipal parking lot by suitable lines for the purpose of designating
the parking space or stall regulated by each parking meter, within
the limits of which every vehicle shall be parked.
C.
Width and angle of stalls determined. All stalls shall
be eight feet and six inches wide and provide for angular parking
at 60º.
D.
Legend required telling coins needed and time covered.
Every parking meter shall contain a legend indicating the number and
types of coins which must be deposited, together with the respective
periods of time which each of the coins, if there be more than one,
entitle the vehicle to be parked in the parking space or stall adjacent
to the meter.
E.
Parking regulated. Every vehicle parked in the municipal
parking lot at any time on any day of the year, including Sundays
and holidays, shall be parked within the parking space marked upon
pavement adjacent to the meter regulating such space and shall not
continue to occupy such space after or while the parking meter shows
a violation. No vehicle shall be parked at any time at any location
within the municipal parking lot which has not been designated as
a parking space.
F.
Deposit of coins required. When any vehicle shall
be parked in any space adjacent to which a parking meter is located
in accordance with the provisions of this article, the operator of
the vehicle shall, upon entering the parking space, immediately deposit,
or cause to be deposited, a coin or coins of the United States, in
the amount as designated on the parking meter and in accordance to
the time designated thereon. Failure to deposit such coins or coin
shall constitute a breach of this article, and shall subject such
person to the penalty prescribed by this article.
G.
Overtime parking.
(1)
Upon deposit of such coin or coins, and placing the
meter in operation, the parking space may be lawfully occupied by
such vehicle during the period of parking time which has been prescribed
for that particular meter.
(2)
If such vehicle shall remain parked in any such parking
space beyond the time fixed for such parking space, the parking meter
shall, by its dial and pointer, indicate such illegal parking. In
that event, such vehicle shall be considered as parking overtime and
beyond the period of legal parking time. The parking of a vehicle
overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time in any such part
of the municipal parking lot where any such meter is located shall
be in violation of this article and punished as hereafter set out.
H.
Meters designated; time permitted. All metered and/or permit only spaces within the municipal parking lots listed in Subsection A of this section shall be reserved for a twenty-four-hour period, except the Edwin Avenue parking lot shall be monthly permit only parking and shall operate from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and for registered residents only from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.
I.
Monthly parking sticker. Any qualified person may
obtain from the Parking Authority a monthly parking sticker for any
owned or operated vehicle. Qualifications of the purchase, conditions
of use, types of vehicles and fees shall be determined by resolution
of the Parking Authority Commissioners.
J.
Violations; penalty.[1] Any person violating the provisions of this article shall,
upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $100
or by imprisonment in the county jail, for a period not exceeding
five days, or by both, such fine and imprisonment in the discretion
of the Magistrate before whom such conviction is entered.
K.
Municipal parking lots at Center Avenue (Block 4101,
Lot 40), Gerome Avenue (Block 4203, Lots 5 and 6), Main Street (Block
3510, Lot 1), Warren Avenue (Block 501, Lot 1), Guntzer Municipal
Lot (Block 4701, Lot 2), Main Street Lot and Bigler Street Lots (Block
4803, Lot 1), the Fort Lee Community Center Lot South (Block 1603,
Lot 10), Edwin Avenue Lot (across from 2055 Edwin Avenue and west
side of 2056 Edwin Avenue)(no block and lot), and such temporary parking
lots as may be leased and designated by the Parking Authority during
the construction of the parking deck at the Guntzer Municipal Lot.
With the exception of the temporary parking lots, all other parking
lots referenced in this subsection shall operate on a twenty-four
hour basis. Therefore, the times and rates, to be established by the
Parking Authority, as per other sections contained herein, shall be
effective at all times of each and every day of the year. Signage
shall indicate the fact that regulations on these lots are applicable
at all times. The leasing and police powers authorized in this subsection
with regard to the temporary parking lots shall expire and become
null and void, without further official action, no later than January
1, 2020.
L.
Parking by the general public shall be prohibited between 8:00 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, in spaces marked: "Reserved
For Borough Employee Only."
A.
Authorization to rent. The Parking Authority is hereby
authorized to rent parking meter bags on a daily basis during periods
of construction or such other emergencies as may be determined by
the Chief of Police or the Executive Director of the Parking Authority.
B.
Fee. The fee for parking meter bags for use as described in Subsection A above shall be $2 per day, per metered space.
C.
Moving vans. The Parking Authority is hereby authorized
to rent parking meter bags and/or emergency no-parking signs to accommodate
moving vans.
D.
Fee for special arrangements. The fee for the special arrangements set forth in Subsection C above shall be $5 per day, per metered space.
E.
Rules and regulations. The Parking Authority shall
promulgate such rules and regulations as it deems necessary to carry
out the provisions of this plan.
F.
Time limit. In no case shall a vehicle remain parked
at a metered or time limit space beyond the parking time limit fixed
by agreement.

A.
Purpose of section. The Borough of Fort Lee has designated the entire
Borough of Fort Lee as a residential parking area in which resident
vehicles registered pursuant to this section may stand or be parked,
without limitation, by parking time restrictions established by this
article. Vehicles not registered may stand or be parked for a limited
time, only in locations where authorized, not to exceed a two-hour
limit specified and adequately posted by signs. Separate rules may
apply in different zones, as posted.
B.
Hours of operation. Residential parking shall be in effect between
the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weekdays, excluding holidays,
on all designated residential parking streets, within the Borough
of Fort Lee, except as provided further in this section.
(1)
The creation of a residential parking area shall have no effect upon
metered parking spaces within the designated area. Parking metered
spaces shall be available to all vehicles, with or without a residential
parking registration.
(2)
A residential parking registration shall not exempt a resident when
parked in a metered space from purchasing the time from the meter
at the established rate.
(3)
The Parking Authority of the Borough of Fort Lee may, in its sole
discretion, promulgate rules and regulations relating to metered parking
spaces.
C.
Issuance of residential parking registrations. The entire Borough
has been designated into two residential parking zones, Residential
Zone A and Residential Zone B, which zones are further identified
in this section. The Parking Authority shall cause parking signs to
be erected, indicating the times and conditions under which parking
shall be allowed. Upon proof of residency, a vehicle may be registered
with the Parking Authority for residential parking. The Parking Authority
shall establish reasonable criteria for proof of residence.
D.
Visitors.
(1)
Residents may register up to two vehicles, belonging to visitors,
per household, without additional cost.
(2)
In addition to the two visitor registrations provided, a resident
may register additional visitor vehicles at a cost of $1 per vehicle,
per day. Each of these visitor registrations will be valid from 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the day it is used.

Visitors are restricted to a one-block radius of the resident they
are visiting. Visitor parking is strictly enforced.
E.
Establishing residency. The resident must prove residency and vehicle
ownership or evidence of having a leased or company-owned vehicle.
The Borough or Parking Authority shall establish criteria for each
vehicle and each application shall be accompanied with sufficient
proof as may be reasonably required. Residents residing in the Residential
Zone A may only be eligible for a permit if there is no off street
parking available. See map.[1]

F.
Residential parking does not exempt a vehicle from enforcement of
state and Borough laws.
(1)
A registered resident vehicle shall be permitted to stand or be parked
in the residential parking area for up to 48 hours. All other motor
vehicles not registered pursuant to the residential parking program
shall be the subject of a two-hour time limit restriction per twenty-four-hour
period. However, all vehicles are still subject to parking restrictions
or prohibitions established pursuant to Title 39 of the New Jersey
State Statutes or the Borough Ordinance for Street Sweeping, or ordinance
provisions pertaining to public safety and handicapped parking zones
and other special parking restrictions.
(2)
A vehicle registered pursuant to the residential parking program
shall not guarantee or reserve to the holder thereof an on-street
parking space.
G.
Penalties.
(1)
Anyone found guilty in the Borough Municipal Court of parking in
a residential zone over the two-hour limit, without being registered
for the appropriate zone, will receive a summons with a fine of $38.
If an unauthorized vehicle is left for a continuous twenty-four-hour
period in any resident parking zone, it may be immobilized in accordance
with the Borough's booting ordinance. The cost of removing the vehicle
boot shall be paid to the Borough of Fort Lee Parking Authority prior
to removal, at the rate for removal established by resolution of the
Parking Authority's Board of Commissioners.
(2)
If an unauthorized vehicle remains in any resident parking zone for
48 hours, it will be towed. The vehicle owner/operator will be responsible
for the cost to remove the boot in addition to the cost of the vehicle
tow. The fee for the towing of vehicles shall be the rate established
by the Borough by resolution or ordinance, and in the absence of such
Borough resolution or ordinance, as established by resolution of the
Parking Authority's Board of Commissioners.
(3)
Any registered resident vehicle found guilty of exceeding the permitted
48 consecutive hours to stand or be parked in the residential parking
area will receive a summons with a fine of $40.
(4)
If an authorized vehicle remains standing or parked, without moving,
in the registered resident parking zone, for seven consecutive days,
it will be towed. The vehicle owner/operator will be responsible for
the cost of the vehicle tow. The fee for the towing of vehicles shall
be the rate established by the Borough by resolution or ordinance,
and in the absence of such Borough resolution or ordinance, as established
by resolution of the Parking Authority's Board of Commissioners.
H.
Nonresident contractor and commercial vehicles.

(1)
The governing body or Parking Authority is aware that emergency services
for the Borough and its residents regularly require service vehicles
and commercial vehicles to park in designated residential areas in
order to properly service Fort Lee. The Parking Authority is hereby
authorized to exempt such vehicles which temporarily park within designated
areas for emergency purposes only without being registered for a period
not to exceed eight consecutive hours.
(2)
Commercial merchants and contractors who are working in a residential
parking zone on a project that requires the contractor or merchant
to be in a residential permit parking zone must secure a business
permit from the Parking Authority in order to park their vehicles
within the residential permit parking zone legally at a cost of $10
per day per vehicle. The Parking Authority shall establish reasonable
criteria for proof of the need for a business permit.

I.
Counterfeiting; penalty. It shall be unlawful and a violation of
this article for an applicant to provide false or counterfeit documentation
for the purpose of obtaining registration for residential parking
privileges. The person committing the aforementioned act shall be
subject to a penalty not to exceed $300 and/or imprisonment for not
more than 10 days for each such violation, such penalties to be imposed
by the Municipal Court.
J.
Enforcement. The provisions of this article shall be enforced by
the Parking Authority of the Borough of Fort Lee.
K.
Designation of residential parking zones. All streets in the Borough are hereby designated as "resident parking only" streets, in accordance with the terms and provisions of this § 289-36. The residential parking in the Borough is comprised of two separately permitted zones: Residential Parking Zone A and Residential Parking Zone B.

Residential Parking Zone A. There is hereby established a Residential
Parking Zone A. The zone shall consist of that area set forth on the

(a)
Overnight on-street parking within Residential Parking Zone
A, from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., is prohibited. Residents of Residential
Parking Zone A that have registered their vehicle pursuant to the
Residential Parking Program Ordinance, prior to the creation of the
Residential Parking Zone A, are hereby grandfathered in and may park
within the Residential Parking Zone A, only on the street they reside
within the Residential Parking Zone A.
(b)
Residents residing in the Residential Parking Zone A must establish
they have no off-street parking available before being eligible to
register for residential parking.
(2)
Residential Parking Zone B. All other Borough streets not identified
as part of Residential Parking Zone A are included in Residential
Parking Zone B.
L.
Application and implementation of residential parking program.
(1)
Streets under the jurisdiction of the State of New Jersey named herein
are named for purposes of boundary descriptions only, and the "resident
parking only" designation shall not apply to such streets.
(2)
"Resident parking only" shall not apply to any parking space where
there is a parking meter.
M.
Types of registration.
(1)
Biannual resident registration. Vehicles registered by residents
for their own use shall be valid for a period of two years from the
date of issuance.
(2)
Biannual visitor registration: visitor registration issued to the
household of any registered resident, which shall be valid for a two-year
period, which are designed to be used when a nonresident visits the
resident's home.
(3)
Additional visitor registration: a daily registration available for
purchase by residents for additional visitors visiting the home of
the resident.
(4)
Business registration: registration available for purchase for nonresident
employers and their employees for daily parking.
N.
Fines for violation and penalties for providing fraudulent/counterfeit documentation. If any such registration as defined in Subsection O is used for any other vehicle or is used for a parking use other than that which it was specifically issued, or registration is obtained through the submission of fraudulent or counterfeit documentation a fine shall be levied and the registration revoked in accordance with the following terms:

Q.
Violations of the digital permit program for improper use; registration; and expired permits of incorrect parking zone. It shall be a violation of the residential digital permit parking program to improperly use digital permits, of any kind in a manner other than as is specified in § 289-36, or use a digital visitor permit in an unauthorized RPP zone. The fine for such violation shall be $60. Violations of the RPP program shall be cited as follows:
(1)
Improper use of residential, other visitor, business, commercial,
construction, construction site, temporary or specialty permit.
(3)
Invalid zone for visitor registration. Failure to park in RPP zone
for which registered digital visitor permit was issued.
(4)
Improper digital registration of visitor, business, and residential
visitor digital permits. Failure to register vehicle as visitor, business
or residential visitor accordingly.
(5)
Failure to register for residential parking permit when parking in
an RPP zone for over two hours, per twenty-four-hour period.
(6)
Expired digital permit. Failure to renew digital permit before the
expiration date while parking in an RPP zone.

Parking on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
(1)
The following streets are restricted to parking for registered residents
and their permitted visitors only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays:

A.
The Parking Authority of the Borough of Fort Lee be
and hereby is authorized to prepare and implement a parking program,
in conjunction with the residential parking permit program heretofore
referred to, by or for employees of owners or bona fide lessees of
business premises operating within the Borough, such employee parking
permit program to be administered by the Parking Authority of the
Borough of Fort Lee and enforced by the Parking Authority together
with the Municipal Court of the Borough of Fort Lee in accordance
with reasonable rules and regulations to be promulgated by the Parking
Authority of Fort Lee for such employee parking permit program, at
a cost to be established by the Parking Authority.
B.
The foregoing program is to be administered and implemented
in conjunction with and in coordination with the residential parking
permit program established by Ordinance No. 90-31 and the agreement
dated April 30, 1991, pursuant thereto.
In addition to all other enforcement authority,
the Parking Authority shall have authority to enforce the provisions
of the Uniform Fire Code, insofar as same applies to fire lane violations,
and Authority personnel are hereby authorized to issue summonses for
said fire lane violations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing
contained herein shall affect the enforcement jurisdiction of fire
officials, police personnel or any other governmental agencies with
jurisdiction over fire lane violations.
