This article shall be known and cited as "Gloucester Township
General License and Permit Ordinance."
Except as herein provided it shall be a condition for the issuance
or renewal of any license or permit issued by, or requiring the approval
of, the Township of Gloucester, that an applicant, if he or she or
it is the owner of the property wherein the business or activity for
which the license or permit is sought or wherein the business or activity
is to be conducted, pay all delinquent property taxes or assessments
on said property.
Except as herein provided, the license or permit of a licensee
or permittee who is the owner of the property upon which the licensed
business or activity is conducted may be revoked or suspended if such
licensee or permittee has failed to pay the taxes due on said property
for at least three consecutive quarters. Upon payment of the delinquent
taxes or assessments, the license or permit shall be restored.

The provisions of this article shall not apply to or include
any alcoholic beverage license or permit issued pursuant to the Alcoholic
Beverage Control Act (N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 et seq.). The provisions of
this article, however, shall be applicable to all other licenses,
permits or approvals issued by, or requiring the approval of, the
Township of Gloucester or any officer, employee, body, board or agent
of the Township of Gloucester.
