Article IV Rules and Regulations

§ 15-29 Adoption of Rules and Regulations Manual.

The attached "Rules and Regulations Governing the Gloucester Township Police Force and for Discipline of its Members" and other enumerated materials, copies of which are attached and made a part hereof, be and are hereby adopted and approved. Said Rules and Regulations shall be incorporated into a Police Manual consisting of the following parts:

Part 1.	Oath and Ethics
1.	Definitions
2.	Establishment and Organization of the Gloucester Township Police Department
3.	Standard Operating Procedures
4.	Rules and Regulations
5.	General and Special Orders
6.	Reports
7.	Disciplinary Code
8.	Drug Screening

§ 15-30 Standard operating procedures; general and special orders.

The Chief of Police of the Township of Gloucester shall issue "Standard Operating Procedures" (S.O.P.) for operation of the police force and "General and Special Orders" as may be necessary and proper for routine and day-to-day activities and for the proper and efficient operation of the police force and Police Department; and that Rules, Regulations and other materials herein approved be incorporated into a Police Manual for the distribution to and use of the Members of the Gloucester Township Police Force, and such other personnel of the Police Department as may be affected or regulated by the same.
