It shall be unlawful to operate a miniature golf course or driving course
where an admission fee is charged to patrons for playing unless a license
is obtained therefor.
The annual license fee of $100 shall be paid for each license.
No miniature golf course or driving course shall be operated and played
on after 12:00 midnight and before 7:00 a.m. on any day. All the operating
lights on the courses shall be out and remain out after 12:00 midnight and
before 7:00 a.m. on any day. They shall be so arranged that their light shall
be shaded from adjoining houses.
Any person desiring a license to operate a miniature golf course or
driving course shall make application to the Township Council. The application
shall show the location of the amusement, size of grounds and distance from
the highway and, if located on any highway, shall be established at least
30 feet from the side line of any street or highway in the Township. The application
shall further show the entrance for patrons and automobiles to the grounds
of the miniature golf course or driving course and the grounds shall be of
sufficient size to adequately accommodate automobiles so that they shall not
be parked on the highway adjacent to the courses. A diagram shall accompany
the application showing the location of the courses in relation to highway,
buildings, churches and schools within 200 feet of the side lines of the courses.
Every licensee under this chapter shall conduct the courses in a quiet
and orderly manner.

This chapter shall be enforced by the Police Department of the Township
of Parsippany-Troy Hills.
