[Adopted 10-28-1986 by Ord. No. 86:72 as Sec. 11-4 of the 1986 Code]
The depositing or diversion of any water on any Township right-of-way, easement or street by mechanical means is prohibited unless the person seeking to discharge waters on any Township right-of-way or easement has complied with the following procedures.
A.
Where storm drainage facilities exist within 200 feet of the property subject to severe drainage problems, persons seeking to discharge water must tie in to said storm sewer, with the installation of the hookup or drain being inspected and approved by the Township Engineer.
B.
In cases where the Township drainage facilities are either in excess of 200 feet of the subject property or other unique circumstances exist rendering connection into existing facilities impossible, the Township Engineer may grant approval on a temporary basis to deposit water on the Township right-of-way or easement until such time as it becomes possible to connect into Township drainage facilities.
